Sprinkler Startup
A properly adjusted sprinkler system can save water, improve disease resistance and improve the appearance of your landscape.
I schedule an appointment, turn on the water supply, replace the battery and setup the controller. Then go through each zone and make adjustment as needed.
If repairs are needed, I can usually do them at the same time.
Sprinkler Repair
Millions of gallons of water are wasted each year in the inland northwest.
Much of this is lost due to leaky heads, valves or improperly adjusted controllers.
Of course dry spots are usually the main focus, especially in the summer months.
I can take care of the immediate problems and make recommendations to save you money down the road on your water bill.
Landscapes change over time. Trees grow up and provide shade, shrubs get bigger and block heads, sprinkler components wear out.
Also technology is always changing and sometimes it makes sense to upgrade.
I have over 25 years experience digging up heads, valves and pipes. I have seen it all from gopher damage, root damage electrical problems and rocks lodged in mainlines.
We'll set up an appointment, Ill take a look and we'll agree on repairs that makes sense for you.
Sprinkler Winterization
I set up an appointment and give you a 2 hour window of when I will arrive.
The main valve is shut off, controller turned off and each zone is blown out with compressed air.
Sometimes customers can shut off their main valve and controller on their own, eliminating the need to take time off work to meet us at their property.
Professional Tree Care
I am a Certified Arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) I have over 25 years of tree experience.
I can work off the ground or climb as needed to prune your trees.
Fruit trees, shade trees, evergreen trees, shrubs
Dead branch removal, thinning, appearance improvement, pest diagnosis.

Carl has years of experience repairing sprinkler systems and pruning trees and is an ISA Certified Arborist. He owned a full service landscape maintenance company in Spokane for over 25 years. He sold it in 2022 and is now providing sprinkler & tree services on a part time basis. He has no employees. He is a one man show, and does all the scheduling, work and billing himself. This is his semi-retirement gig, bringing all his years of experience directly to you.
In his spare time he hikes, climbs and skis with his wife, daughters and friends. When he's not doing that, he's improving his own landscape or playing guitar in a local classic rock band called Common Ground.
